Veľká Ida castle

Veľká Ida castle

The dominant feature of Veľká Ida is undoubtedly the beautifully preserved mansion, which today houses the Municipal Office. Originally a Renaissance-Baroque building, it was built at the initiative of the Csáky family sometime after 1688. There is a pond near the manor house, which was supposedly dug out in 1589 by Perényi János.
